Made from scratch by hand, it takes over 12,000 hand made parts to craft the pristine Steinway D grand piano. To perform the Indian National Anthem on it was an utter privilege for me. I could not be happier with the choice of instrument.

inr 2.5 crore.

At 8' 11¾" (274 cm) in length, the Steinway D 274 concert grand piano is one majestic musical instrument — the pinnacle of concert grands. It is the overwhelming choice of the world's greatest pianists and for anyone who demands the highest level of musical expression. In concert hall settings, the D-274 is a major presence. An example would be the famous Van Cliburn International Piano Competition, which traditionally offers contestants a choice of two D-274s owned by the Van Cliburn Foundation. Since its conception in 1880, Steinway has produced only a small number of special or limited editions of the D-274. It retails in India through Furtados & Sons for INR 2.5 crore approximately.

Established in 1865, Furtados has always been the vanguard in the field of Western music education and knowledge in India.
